Von der Leyen announces 20 million euro aid for the Bosnia and Herzegovina floods

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who is on a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, met members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency.

She announced that the EU will mobilise €20 million to deal with flood damage in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We have decided to mobilise €20 million without delay and further support will be through the Solidarity Fund.

After talks with Denis Becirovic, Zeljko Cvijanovic and Zeljko Komsic from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the President of the European Commission will have a meeting with the President of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Kristo, Bosnian media reported.

After her visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ursula von der Leyen will be in Belgrade. | BGNES
