USA and France urged Skopje to comply with international obligations

Paris and Washington called on the next government of North Macedonia to remain focused on the path to the European Union and to respect its international obligations, BGNES reported.

The message is part of the US-France road map published by the White House on June 8 this year, created by US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron at the meeting in France a few days ago

On the Western Balkans point, the two Western powers welcome cooperation for the region's integration into the European Union in order to increase prosperity and strengthen democratic governance and the rule of law.

The call by the US and France is part of a series of reactions by the international community in the past period, following the oath that the country's new president, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, pronounced upon her inauguration. She swore by "Macedonia" by refusing to use the country's constitutional name - North Macedonia.

The leader of VMRO-DPMNE and future prime minister of the Republic of Macedonia, Hristiyan Mitskoski, will announce the composition of the cabinet on June 18, BGNES reported. VMRO-DPMNE convincingly won the May 8 parliamentary elections. In the new RSM cabinet, there will be representatives not only from participants in the coalition with VMRO-DPMNE, but also representatives from the Albanian coalition VLEN. | BGNES
