The Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) in open court about the cancellation of voting machines in the local elections

In open court today, the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) will hear the case against the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) to cancel the voting machines.

A total of 12 complaints were received on Saturday, October 28, electronically from the CEC to the court. According to the Electoral Code, they must be examined and a court ruling on them within three days of their receipt. Complaints were filed by "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria", PE "Edinenie", by the candidate for mayor and candidate for municipal councilor of the Shumen Municipality Nedelcho Nedelchev, by the candidate for municipal councilor for the Capital Municipality Petar Slavov, as well as by six individuals in their quality as voters. According to two complaints of natural persons, the court gave them a deadline to remove the irregularities by 12:30 p.m. today. Only then will administrative cases be opened for consideration.

An appeal has been filed in the Supreme Administrative Court against the CEC's declaration of nullity of the decision of the OIC Sofia to use the voting machines. The administrative case established under it will be considered in an open court session also today. /BGNES
