The protest in Belgrade: whoever steals the election steals the future

A rally is being held on Terazije Square in the center of Belgrade, which started the campaign against the election fraud of President Aleksandar Vucic, BGNES reported.

The student Emilia Milenkovic addressed the crowd, as well as the citizens gathered on the terraces: "Most of the people who are now on the street fought during the voting, they were monitors, they called their friends to vote. We saw that we could not fight like this. We just wanted our vote to be counted in our polling station," Milenkovic said. She added that she was furious that the votes had been stolen, that the electoral will had been manipulated again for 11 years.

Professor Oliver Toshkovic said he represented the 1,000 professors who signed the support for the students. He added that the sentence that best describes the support is 'who steals the election, steals the future', it's all just a cheap trick," Tošković said.

Former basketball player Vladimir Shtimac, a mayoral candidate from the NADA coalition said: "Good day to you who are not afraid to fight here with us," said Shtimac, "Everyone who turns their heads is not doing the right thing. The system is falling apart at the seams because it is made up of people who could never be on the front lines," he added.

Miroslav Aleksic, the leader of the "Serbia Against Violence" coalition, addressed the citizens. "Freedom must belong to all the students who turned their backs on Vucic's politics," Aleksic said, pointing out that a country that imports voters and exports its own country has no future.

Radomir Lazovic of the Green Left Front told the crowd that he regretted having to speak instead of Marinika Tepic. “It is extremely difficult for me to speak in front of Marinika, I would prefer her to tell you everything she knows. "she tells you all this with her victim. Marinika needs to go to the hospital. We thought freedom was won in elections. Unfortunately, it will have to be won on the street, we will have to fight for our freedom," said Lazovic.

Marinika Tepic herself came on stage with the help of Radomir Lazovic and Miroslav Aleksic: "I have nothing to tell you. All I can do is what I already said. "These elections must be annulled," Tepic said. Those present started chanting anti-government slogans.

After the rally, the protestors will march along "Kral Milan" and "Knyaz Milos" streets to the Constitutional Court building to demand new elections. /BGNES
