The REPowerEU program for Romania consists of two new reforms and seven investments to achieve the objectives of the REPowerEU programme, namely to make Europe independent of Russian fossil fuels well before 2030.
The budget of the Romanian REPowerEU program amounts to EUR 28.5 billion, of which EUR 14.9 billion in loans and EUR 13.6 billion in grants (including the "BAR" Brexit Adjustment Reserve, the Romania Recovery and Support Fund and REPowerEU).
