Survey: improving living standards more important to Serbs than Kosovo

In Serbia, the standard of living of the society is more important than solving the Kosovo problem.

44 per cent of the respondents would vote for a party that could improve their standard of living, while 36 per cent would vote for a party that would "solve the Kosovo problem".

The survey also showed the positive attitude of Serbian citizens towards the EU. However, they were not directly asked whether they support Serbia's integration into the Union. According to the publication, support for the country's EU membership among the population has been declining for many years.

Earlier, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is not interested in BRICS membership. According to him, it is impossible to have two strategic orientations, "to be for BRICS and the EU at the same time". | BGNES
