A bare-chested man clutching a knife was walking on the sixth-floor balcony near the agriculture ministry, teetering on the edge.
Police cordoned off traffic in the area and evacuated the ministry as a precaution.
A police source said the man also attempted suicide last week and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
The man was 28, married and had two children in Gaza, which has been under Israeli occupation for almost a year. He has been in Greece for the past 2 years and is struggling with drug addiction, another source said. | BGNES
