PM of North Macedonia violated the Treaty with Bulgaria by lying about the Strasbourg cases

Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski violated the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation with Bulgaria, BGNES reported.
Hristijan Mickoski's position on the judgments against Bulgaria of the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg is a direct violation of Art. 11, item 5 of the Agreement. According to it, nothing in the Constitution of North Macedonia has any relation to persons in Bulgaria who are not citizens of North Macedonia.
The statements of the prime minister of North Macedonia are practically an attempt to directly interfere in the internal affairs of Bulgaria.
Mitkoski tried to suggest that 14 judgments of the Court of Human Rights against Bulgaria (by OMO Ilinden and others) include an obligation to Sofia to recognize the Macedonian minority.
In fact, however, the verdicts are 6, and Bulgaria has implemented all the recommendations after the decisions and is working on closing the cases that were filed because the Bulgarian court refused to register some associations of Bulgarian citizens who define themselves as Macedonians.
There are already associations of people with a Macedonian identity, for example "Ancient Macedonians" in Gotse Delchev.
Mickoski's main lie states that the decisions oblige Bulgaria to recognize a Macedonian minority. However, the decisions do not mention minority or the obligation to register.
Another violation of international law by Mickoski is the politicization of the judgments of the Strasbourg court, which undermines the Convention on Human Rights.
Mickoski's theses support Putin's interests in the Balkans to compromise and undermine human rights institutions.
Hatred of Bulgarians is a systematic state policy against part of the people of North Macedonia.
Mickoski's policies are causing a rift in relations between NATO allies and threatening the security of the Balkans.| BGNES
