Incidents and clashes broke out in the Serbian parliament between ruling and opposition parties, N1 television reported.
The debate on the 2025 budget proposal was due to be on the Serbian parliament's agenda today, along with about 50 other items, but before that discussion, lawmakers and some ministers clashed physically. Security forces intervened, and parliament speaker Ana Brnabić turned down the volume so that the Serbian public could not hear what was happening in parliament.
The opposition shouted: 'Murderers'.
Opposition MPs said that the authorities had "blood on their hands" and held up a banner with the face of Aleksandar Vucic, on which his hands were painted red. | BGNES
