New York also shows solidarity with Serbia protests

"New York is with you." This was written on one of the posters put up by the demonstrators in New York last night.

The demonstrators also adopted the slogan chanted in Serbia: "Your hands are bloody". At the same time, other solidarity rallies took place in a number of European cities, including London, Milan, Brussels and Madrid.

In Serbia, tens of thousands of citizens took to the streets in many cities, including Belgrade, Novi Sad, Valevo, Nis, Loznica, Kragujevac, Cacak, Vranje, Inđija, Čicevac, Zajacar... Among them, students, teachers and parents predominated, as a call for a teachers' strike was made today, 20 January, on the eve of the start of the new school year. | BGNES
