The ruling party in the Republic of Macedonia, VMRO-DPMNE, of Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, has asked the prosecutor's office to start an investigation into the project for the construction of the railway line to the Bulgarian border, BGNES reported.
"The prosecutor's office should not remain silent. It should immediately start an investigation and give an answer to the question of what should have happened to the 23 million euros for one kilometre of the railway line, which reaches an endless tunnel." "Did the government of the Social Democratic Union /SDSM/ and the Democratic Union for Integration /DSI/ pump up the price for the railway project to Bulgaria to suck a hundred million euros even though it may not function for decades" , Petrushevski also said.
