Milorad Dodik called for the creation of a "Greater Serbia"

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that Serbs living in the Balkans should be united in one state (Greater Serbia).

According to Dodik, it is possible to achieve this goal "through political measures, not through war."

In an interview with the Belgrade office of Russian state media, which is banned in the EU, Dodik said that a new world order will be established in the coming years and Serbs in the Balkans should take advantage of this and create "something like Greater Serbia".

"We must now say that in this century we want a united state consisting of Serbia, Republika Srpska with Kosovo and Metohija, and if there is such a democratic solution - and Montenegro, which undoubtedly belongs to the ethnic world of Serbia," Dodik added. quoted by "N1".

In this way, Dodik once again threatened the continued existence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He added that it is important to strengthen the military, political and economic power of Serbia, specifying that President Aleksandar Vucic is working for this cause.

"Me, Vučić and Patriarch Porfirij (as the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church) and many others should sit down and hold an all-Serbian council to say that we want to be a united state, as we are the majority here," Dodik said, as accused the West of encouraging anti-Serbian sentiment.

"Serbs have no intention of going to war, but they also have no intention of allowing anyone to trample them. That is why I support the strength that Serbia has built recently - military, political, economic and financial. And no one can dispute that President Aleksandar Vucic opened Serbia, put it in a different place than 10-15 years ago," Dodik pointed out.

The president of the Serbian entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina said that the only chance for a peaceful life in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to separate peacefully.

BGNES reminds that Milorad Dodik is on the "black list" of the USA. The same goes for his children. Washington imposed sanctions on Dodik's family and his companies on charges of corruption and undermining the state structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The escalating confrontation between the leadership of Republika Srpska with the West and the central authorities of BiH is deepening the paralysis of power in the country, bringing it to the brink of collapse.

The State Department's October 20 report stated that the purpose of the sanctions against the RS president's family is "to dismantle the financial network that provides personal enrichment to Milorad Dodik to the detriment of the territorial integrity and functionality of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the economic well-being of Republika Srpska".

Dodik has repeatedly verbally attacked EU special envoy Christian Schmidt. In one of the series of attacks, Dodik called him a "Nazi pig".

Dodik and Milos Lukic (Director of the State Gazette of the Republika Srpska) were prosecuted by the BiH Prosecutor's Office based on changes to the Federation's Criminal Code imposed by Schmidt on July 1, which make disobedience and non-implementation of his decisions a punishable crime with imprisonment from six months to five years.

BGNES also recalls that Aleksandar Vulin - one of the closest figures of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic - falls under the US sanctions. Vulin is the director of the Security and Information Agency of Serbia. /BGNES
