The leader of VMRO-DPMNE and future Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, has stated that he will use the country's constitutional name when taking the oath of office. However, Mickoski stated that he will not stop using the term "Macedonia" in his everyday usage.
"The constitutional name of the state is clear, we should not have double standards here, feel irresponsible to the citizens or mislead them, we know what the constitutional name is, it is with an adjective," said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE.
He noted that the fight against corruption will be a top priority for his government.
"In the first days of the formation of the new government, I will hold a working meeting with the new Minister of Internal Affairs, Panče Toškovski. There must be accountability for all these suspicions, for all these evidences that have reached us in recent days of crimes committed in the past period, but at the same time I say publicly and repeat it constantly that there will be no tolerance for any member to the government or to any elected person who will be connected to criminal and corruption cases," Mickoski said. | BGNES
