The position of VMRO-DPMNE is clear. We have the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts /MANU/, in which scientists from different ethnicities are gathered and we must work in the direction of enriching scientific thought, this is the future.
This is what the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, said regarding the initiative of his Albanian coalition partner VLEN/VREDI for the country to be the first in the world with two academies of sciences, BGNES reported.
Mickoski, after the meeting with the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Northwestern Macedonia, emphasized that "the future is not in divisions but in unification".
When asked whether the different views are a challenge for the coalition and how stable it is, the prime minister stated that there is "sincere and principled cooperation with all coalition partners".
"We don't have to agree on everything. The point is to understand each other on most topics. We are all separate individuals, political parties and it is logical to have different views on given topics, but in an internal dialogue, in a process of internal debate these misunderstandings must be overcome," the Prime Minister emphasized.
"In a family at home, you don't always agree with the members of that family, sometimes you will encounter some misunderstandings, but in a dialogue, in a democratic friendly environment, you have to overcome them. So far, in these five weeks, this is how we function," he added.
Health Minister Arben Taravari said today that there is no disagreement in the government coalition regarding the idea of the Albanian Academy of Sciences and Arts and emphasized that it was part of the VLEN campaign program for the presidential and parliamentary elections.
According to Taravari, all ideas related to science and art are good and so far initiatives have been started in four municipalities, and in the future, a solution must be found that is acceptable to all citizens in the country. | BGNES
