Mickoski: The negotiating framework with the EU is a disaster for Macedonia

This is what Macedonian Prime Minister Christian Mickoski said today, BGNES repoerts.

The North Macedonian prime minister said he did not know who could guarantee him that "there will be no more blockades".

"I don't know who will give guarantees that there will be no blockades with these bilateral negotiations in the Negotiating Framework, I don't know who it is. The only guarantee has been given from our side. It has been presented to our strategic partners and that is the most we can do at this point because as a nation and as a state we have done something that nobody has done before. This is our red line."

According to Mickoski, "if someone in Brussels has decided to be held hostage by medieval politicians who come from EU member states, "at least let us do our homework."

"We have a fully coherent policy with the EU, we are not a danger, let them lead, we will follow. If they think we don't deserve, on the principle of deeds and not on the principle of bilateralism and medieval issues, to be part of the European family, that is their right. We want to be, we are ready to talk to everyone, if they are not ready, we will wait for them," Mickoski added.
