The future prime minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, in his official Facebook post about his meeting with the Austrian ambassador in Skopje, Martin Pamer, used only the term Macedonia, instead of the constitutional name North Macedonia.
"I thanked Pamer for the support that Macedonia receives from Austria on the way to European integration. The excellent relations between Macedonia and Austria in the economy will be rewarded and promoted in the future', Mickoski wrote and emphasized "during the meeting we paid attention to the plan against corruption and crime, which will be at the top of the agenda of the future government".
BGNES recalls that on May 12, during her oath, the new president Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova also refused to use the country's constitutional name. This action of Siljanovska is in violation of the Prespa Agreement signed between the North Macedonia and Greece.
On May 8, VMRO-DPMNE won 58 seats in the 120-seat parliament, and Hristiyan Mitskoski will be the country's next prime minister./BGNES
