The Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski claims that the rights of the Bulgarians in his country are respected. Still, the same cannot be said for what he calls the Macedonian minority in Bulgaria, BGNES reported.
During a meeting at the Johns Hopkins University in the USA, Mickoski stated that the country should change its Constitution for the sake of a few hundred people, as he disparaged his fellow citizens with a Bulgarian self-awareness.
"When we talk about the EU, will changing the Constitution be the last demand? Who can guarantee us that? We don't have an answer to that question," he said.
Mickoski pointed out that the rights of the Bulgarians were not violated, but on the contrary, Bulgaria did not respect the rights of the Macedonian minority. | BGNES
