His goal is North Macedonia to be a part of the European Union.
This is what the Prime Minister says. Christian Mickoski in an interview with Radio Free Europe. According to him, "the country deserved EU membership long before other countries, but this did not happen because of the injustice to which North Macedonia and its citizens were subjected".
"Today we cannot even start negotiations. This is not a competition in which you only have to participate. We are now in a situation where we need to know that when we start the race that we will finish it and not face other obstacles that will humiliate us for decades. I am not that kind of interlocutor. I am an interlocutor who is ready to compromise, but only if that compromise means an end, i.e. in our case it means full EU membership," he says.
