A six-hour blockade of the junction next to the railway station is planned, reports BGNES.
The Novi Sad opposition and part of the parliamentary opposition will join citizens who blocked the intersection at midday.
Musician Marko Šelić Marcello and actress Jelena Stupljanin will also attend the protest and address their fellow citizens.
The protest was announced by the youth activist organizations STAV and SviĆe, and is expected to last until 18:00 local time.
BGNES recalls that on 3 November a multi-thousand protest demanding the resignation of Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic took place in Belgrade over the same incident. | BGNES
