The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia, Timcho Mutsunski, escaped from all direct questions addressed to him by the delegates from Bulgaria in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), reports BGNES.
During the meeting, all Bulgarian representatives to PACE - Georg Georgiev and Denitsa Sacheva from GERB-SDS, Nadezhda Yordanova from PP-DB and Toshko Yordanov from "There is such people" - asked Mutsunski directly questions about the need for constitutional changes in the country to start on EU membership negotiations, on the language of hate and on the refusal to build Corridor number 8 on the territory of the North Macedonia.
Mutsunski was also asked critical questions by other representatives, including Switzerland, regarding the huge loan of more than 500 million euros received by Viktor Orbán's government in Hungary.
Georg Georgiev (GERB-SDS) and Toshko Yordanov (ITN) asked to receive an answer from Mutsunski when the cabinet in Skopje plans to take actions for changes in the constitution, which will enable the country to actually start negotiations with the European Union.
Nadezhda Yordanova (PP-DB) directly asked Mutsunski about the language of hatred and aggression against Bulgaria used by members of the government of Hristiyan Mickoski.
Denitsa Sacheva asked for a specific answer to a question about the refusal of the regime in Skopje to continue the construction of strategic corridor No. 8 on its territory.
The Bulgarian representatives did not receive a single concrete answer to the questions, and Timcho Mutsunski tried to escape with general phrases and with his satisfaction that there were many Bulgarians in the hall who asked him questions. | BGNES
