Macedonian deputy prime minister supports reunification of all Serbs

Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Inter-Community Relations Ivan Stoilkovic supported the reunification of all Serbs, BGNES reported.

Stoilkovic announced powerful support for his ally and Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik at an election rally of the Union of Independent Social Democrats in Banja Luka - Dodik's party.

"Mr President, you are fighting an epic battle not only for the preservation of the Republika Srpska, but for Serbian unity in general, but also for Serbian unification," Stoilkovic addressed Dodik

The leader of the "Democratic Party of Serbs" in North Macedonia was in the company of Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic, Deputy Prime Minister and Serbian World's driving force Aleksandar Vulin and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó.

"With my brother Milos Vucevic - Prime Minister of the Serbian government and our great friend Peter Szijjártó - Hungarian Foreign Minister," Stoilkovic wrote on Facebook under a photo from the event. The Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said he was expecting Vucevic in Skopje.

Milorad Dodid said he and Vucic, Vucevic, Vulin are working together day and night for "unity".

"But bwe are not doing this to harm anyone else, but because we value our people and our freedom. We want to preserve peace, to preserve our identity. Not to mention how important the General Assembly was, which gave many of our answers from the past, but also guidance for the future. That is why it is a historic document. The whole idea of our enemies is to divide the Serbs. They feed on that, they divide us into Serbs, Bosnian Serbs, Croatian Serbs and so on, and we are one single people, clearly and loudly only Serbs," Dodik said, adding:

"We trust China and Russia. We believe in Hungary and Azerbaijan and all those who were with us in the most difficult moments."

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Vulin announced from the rostrum that the process of reunification between Serbia and Republika Srpska had begun:

"Let us preserve our people on both sides of the Drina and wherever Serbs live in these areas, but also in the whole world. That is why we need a politically stable Serbia, we have no time for adventures and some trials. The reunification process was started by Aleksandar Vucic and Milorad Dodik. We need to think alike on the most important issues, to look forward and, when they try to divide us, to be unshakeable and firm. When you vote, you send a message to Serbia that you are continuing the politics of one nation."

Peter Szijjártó delivered his speech in Serbian.

"We appreciate you very much. We have a lot in common. We are exposed to a lot of external pressure. Those who oppress us want to interfere in our internal affairs. Threatening, imposing sanctions and funding our enemies. It is important to defend our interests, because if we do not, no one else will. We live in an age of danger, which is why we need strong presidents like Milorad Dodik. He bravely represents the interests of the Republic of Serbia in every forum. We can thank him for the development of cooperation, which today amounts to EUR 40 million. We are continuing this cooperation. It is important to decide your own future," Sijarto said.

BGNES recalls that Ivan Stoilkovic (like Dodik) is one of the closest politicians in the Balkans to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian Head of State Aleksandar Vucic.

Upon his appointment, Stoilkovic was urged by Belgrade to "defend Serbian interests" in Skopje.

The Macedonian deputy prime minister announced that he would leave North Macedonia if the Bulgarians were included in the constitution, and is now in charge of inter-communal relations. Stoilkovic called the 1995 Srebrenica genocide, when Bosnian Serbs killed more than 10,000 Bosnian Muslims, "Disneyland". In October last year, he said that "Skopje has no future without Serbia". The deputy prime minister has personally welcomed every Russian politician who has come to visit the North Macedonia, including Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and has attended all events organised by the Russian embassy in the Macedonian capital.

Stoilkovic always campaigns only with Serbian flags.

His daughter, Sandra Stoilkovic, is the "programme coordinator" of the Russian state-funded Alexander Gorchakov Fund for Public Diplomacy, established with Putin's "blessing". | BGNES
