The European Union's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, announced his visit to Serbia without specifying the date of his arrival.
He aims to discuss with his interlocutors the next meeting in the framework of the dialogue on normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, reports BGNES.
On Facebook, Lajcak recalled that he had attended the Bled Strategic Forum and then visited Kosovo. In Pristina, he talked with the chief negotiator and deputy prime minister Besnik Bislimi about preparations for the next meeting in Brussels.
"We talked about the latest developments, the agenda of the next meeting and approaches to resolve some of the current issues, but also about the next steps in the implementation of the agreement on the road to normalization," Lajcak wrote.
"I will then also travel to Serbia to prepare the next meeting in the dialogue," the EU special envoy announced.
He added that during his stay in Pristina he discussed the latest developments over the summer, the agenda for the next meeting of the main negotiators and approaches to resolving some ongoing issues, as well as the next steps towards implementing the agreement on normalization of relations. | BGNES
