Kurti called for pressure on Serbia to remove military bases along the border with Kosovo

"The West must put pressure on Serbia to remove military bases along the border with Kosovo."
This was stated by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in an interview with CNN.
Kurti added that Serbia is waiting for an opportunity to invade Kosovo and that Western partners must prevent this.
"Our neighbor Serbia is very aggressive towards Kosovo, initially not recognizing it as an independent state. In addition, it is waging a hybrid war and conducting military exercises along the border. There are 48 operational bases around the border with Kosovo, waiting for an opportune moment. What we want from the western partners, is to put pressure on Belgrade to withdraw these bases, each of which has 50-150 soldiers. If we speak from a political point of view, Serbia is similar to the Russian Federation. They really do not know their neighbors de facto and de jure . They create problems for their neighbors because they want to expand," added the prime minister. | BGNES
