In the heart of Belgrade posters with Trump for Greater Serbia, including Macedonia

Posters with a map of "Greater Serbia", which includes today's Republic of North Macedonia, were put up in central Belgrade today, a BGNES correspondent reported.

The posters depict Donald Trump and Elon Musk with the slogan, which copies the US president-elect's campaign message /"Make America Great Again"/. The posters are the work of the far-right movement "Nashi". According to them, the map includes "historic Serbian lands". "With this action, we want to remind the need for Serbia to take its deserved place in the Balkans and the world in order to correct the historical injustices that have been inflicted on our people over the decades in the past," reads the movement's official statement.

"Nashi" portray themselves as supporters of Trump, "who has fought to preserve the sovereignty of his homeland and openly opposed globalist movements that threaten national interests." "Serbia must restore its greatness and strength," the document added. The movement believes that "Serbia must return to the places that historically belong to it".

The BGNES reporter recalls that the regime of Aleksandar Vucic constantly boasts of "close relations with persons from Trump's inner circle, in particular his son-in-law Jared Kushner and former US ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell." | BGNES
