In less than a minute, European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen destroyed all the anti-European and anti-Bulgarian propaganda of Hristijan Mickoski's government.
Standing close to him and looking him straight in the eye, Ursula very clearly and firmly told him: Corridor 8 is strategically important for Europe.
Mr Mickoski, who for years has been talking about a Bulgarian dictate, about European humiliation and claims to have the support of major European countries for his proposals - a delayed action of the changes in the Constitution to include bulgarians in it, did not dare to repeat even indirectly some of his lies.
The conclusions of today's visit of the President of the European Commission to Skopje are clear: the Mickoski regime is deceiving its citizens. We will not allow the liquidation of the European strategic corridors that pass through the territory of North Macedonia. I BGNES
