Hristijan Mitkoski: As long as I remain PM of North Macedonia, there will be no inclusion of Bulgarians in the constitution

As long as I lead the government and as long as I am the chairman of VMRO-DPMNE there will be no will for constitutional changes, and without VMRO-DPMNE there will be no constitutional changes, this should be clear to everyone. 
This is what Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said about the requirement for constitutional changes under the Negotiating Framework for the opening of EU membership negotiations for North Macedonia.
Mickoski reiterated the position that "there will be no constitutional changes without guarantees received from Brussels, or, as he said, a jointly drafted clear plan, that there will be no further bilateralisation of the accession process".

Asked further about Brussels' insistence on constitutional changes to start EU membership negotiations and National Assembly Speaker Afrim Gashi's statement that this requires political will from the largest ruling party, Mickoski reiterated that as long as he leads the government and is at the head of VMRO-DPMNE there will be no constitutional changes without EU guarantees.
