Police helicopters dumped 120 tons of water over the fires in neighboring North Macedonia, BGNES reported.
The "Aviation Parts" Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated with two helicopters in extinguishing the fire in the Yasen area.
While the fire in Greece flared up again to the Bulgarian border, more than 120 tons of water were dumped in the RSM within 62 approaches. The new outbreaks have been localized.
The firefighters are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to the village of Breznitsa and the village of Tuzhevo. I BGNES
