On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the new president of the Republic of North Macedonia, Bulgaria does not accept statements and behavior that contradict both the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation of 2017 and, in principle, the agreements between the European Union and the Republic of North Macedonia.
This is stated in the position of acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, the government press office reported.
"Bulgaria has repeatedly and clearly stated its position that the agreements must be strictly implemented.
We remind you that the Republic of North Macedonia is a member state of NATO, from which the corresponding obligations and responsibilities arise.
We are convinced that the European perspective of the Republic of North Macedonia will depend entirely on its comprehensive implementation of the agreements approved by all from July 2022," Glavchev also believes./BGNES
