Croatia is a key partner of the Netherlands for the policy of ensuring stability and security in the Western Balkans.
This was stated by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte at a joint press conference in Zagreb with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Hina reported.
The two leaders emphasized that their countries have more and more points of contact. Rutte and Plenkovic promised to strengthen bilateral relations in the economic sector.
Earlier today, the Prime Ministers of the Netherlands and Croatia, together with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, visited Sarajevo.
They called on the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue with the implementation of reforms in 14 priority areas required by the European Union.
The goal is for the reforms to be implemented in the next 6 /six/ weeks, with the goal of the country starting negotiations for EU membership by the end of March - before the European Parliament elections in June. /BGNES
