Energy Minister and part of the senior leadership of the ruling VMRO-DPMNE Sanja Bozhinovska used a Bulgarian passport when she was a director at the Croatian company Rudnap, BGNES reports.
The Macedonian portal "360 degrees" also published a document from the Commercial Court in Zagreb, where it is written that Bozhinovska used Bulgarian identity documents, i.e. she has Bulgarian citizenship.
Bozhinovska herself has denied the information to the newspaper. However, the editors stressed that she did not answer the question whether "in the past she had Bulgarian citizenship".
According to the media outlet's verification, the minister is a Bulgarian citizen to date.
BGNES reminds that it is not the first time that members of the VMRO-DPMNE or the North Macedonia Council of Ministers turn out to be Bulgarian citizens. The last time such information was spread about the family of former Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, relatives of Christian Mickoski himself, as well as about the mayor of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, also a candidate of VMRO-DPMNE. | BGNES
