The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated on the social network X that North Macedonia should continue its accession to the EU by implementing reforms and complying with the concluded agreements, including the Prespa agreement.
When Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova was sworn in as president earlier today, she did not use the official name of the country, the Republic of North Macedonia, but only "Macedonia".
"For North Macedonia to continue on its successful path to EU accession, it is most important that the country continues on the path of reform and full compliance with its binding agreements, including the Prespa Agreement," Ursula von der Leyen wrote. In a previous post, she only congratulated Goradna Siljanovska on her inauguration. /BGNES
