Bulgarian President Rumen Radev to visit Greece

On Tuesday, 2 July, President Rumen Radev will pay a working visit to Greece. In Athens, the Head of State will participate in the opening of the 28th annual roundtable of The Economist.

The international forum brings together heads of state and government from Greece and the region, representatives of institutions, business, international organizations and academia. This year's roundtable focuses on the challenges facing the world arising from intensifying geopolitical conflicts, climate change and the global economy and the search for opportunities to overcome them.

During his visit, President Rumen Radev will hold meetings with his Greek counterpart Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The deepening of cooperation within the framework of the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Greece in the region, topics of mutual interest with a focus on energy, connectivity, transport and the economy, as well as issues on the European and international agenda will be the focus of the talks.

During the visit, the Head of State will be accompanied by his wife, Desislava Radeva. | BGNES
