Bulgaria honored the victims of the Serbian regime after 1945 in Macedonia

In the "Sveta Nedelya" church, in the center of Sofia, today at noon the memory of the thousands killed at the beginning of the new Serbian regime in Macedonia after 1945 was honored, reported BGNES.

The beginning of the slaughter of the Macedonian Bulgarians began at the end of 1944, but it reached its peak during Christmas on January 7, 1945. Then thousands were slaughtered in several hours in several cities of Macedonia.

This massacre became known as "Bloody Christmas". The order for the slaughter of the Macedonian Bulgarians came directly from Belgrade by those closest to the Yugoslav dictator Josip Broz-Tito - Svetozar Vukmanovic-Tempo and Milovan Djilas.

The memorial service was attended by Macedonian Bulgarians, famous scientists, public figures and many ordinary citizens.

To this day, the Macedonian public, as well as the citizens of the other former southern republics and now independent countries, still do not know about the brutal crimes of the post-1945 Yugoslav regime established by the dictator Tito. /BGNES
