Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik undergoes surgery in Belgrade

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik, who is in hospital in Belgrade, and wished him a speedy recovery.

"I visited President Milorad Dodik before tomorrow's surgery and wished him a speedy recovery and good health. I look forward to continued cooperation and new meetings with the RS leadership. We have a lot of work ahead of us," Vucic wrote on Instagram.

Dodik was hospitalised today in Belgrade due to acute stomach pains, his office said. Esophageal and stomach surgery was reportedly needed.
