Belgrade: We have eliminated Corridor 8, we are building Belgrade-Skopje-Athens

Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic has personally admitted that Aleksandar Vucic's regime was involved in stopping the construction of Corridor 8, which was to connect the Black Sea with the Adriatic Sea, a BGNES reports.

"The European Union forced the corridor from Bulgaria to Albania, as well as the one from Romania to Greece. We have prevented this dark scenario for Serbia with the decision of the

Aleksandar Vucic to start investing in the Corridor 10 railway line," Vesic said openly.

In his view, "Serbia has to fight to be a central country through which all railway lines pass."

The BGNES correspondent from Skopje recalled that the first decision of the government of Christian Mitkoski in RS Macedonia was to stop the construction of Corridor 8. Mitkoski's right-hand man, Aleksandar Nikoloski, even tried to redirect the European funds secured for this transport corridor to Corridor 10. I BGNES
