Austrian MEP Thomas Weitz has been appointed as the European Parliament's new rapporteur on North Macedonia, BGNES reported.
Weitz succeeds Bulgarian MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk, who held the post for almost five years.
The MEP, who is part of the Greens group, was also co-chair of the European Green Party. I BGNES
