Greek maritime authorities said at least two people - a man and a woman - died and 22 others were rescued when a boat carrying migrants sank while trying to cross the Aegean Sea to Greece, Kathimerini reported.
Search and rescue operations continue off the island of Samos in the Aegean Sea. Two coastguard boats, a private vessel and a Greek army helicopter are taking part in the operation.
