"So far, the bodies of 14 people have been found" in the area of Jablanica, about 70 km southwest of Sarajevo, regional government spokesman Darko Jukan said.
He added that the death toll was likely to rise.

The situation was worst in Jablanica, which was completely cut off after 24 hours of heavy rain.
In Kiseljak, 20 km west of Sarajevo, houses, gardens and cars were submerged.
Much of the population of BaH is at risk due to the heavy rains and landslides.
Firefighters, police and utility companies worked to contain the situation on the ground. But the Civil Protection Administration warned that more help is needed to mitigate the effects of the storms and rainfall.
In neighbouring Croatia, weather authorities issued a warning for the northern Adriatic coast, the Istria peninsula and the central part of the country because of the heavy rains.
